United Soccer League to generate large economic impact for Spokane

 The proposal and approval of the downtown Spokane stadium included the United Soccer League (USL) bringing a men's team to Spokane. Now, USL announced Spokane will be the home for a women's team. The stadium, which will be developed, owned and operated by the Spokane Public Facilities District, is set to be an economic catalyst for Spokane, generating a projected $11.4 million in economic impact, while also saving the school department $22.5 million over the lifespan of the venue.

Cindy Wendle to Serve as President of USL to Spokane
